Maasdijk, is a ficticious small depot close to the Waalhaven complex near Rotterdam. It has refuelling facilities and a minor repair and servicing shed and a local storage area for the infrastructure group Strukton.
The layout was built using recycled parts from previous layouts and was built to show that you do not need lots of space for a layout and that they do not need be expensive.
The scenic section measures 4ft x 1ft3in and the overall length of the layout is 5ft6in.
